Our Annual Art and Music show will be held on May 29; we are excited to showcase the talents of our students once again. Please come out and support the arts at Horbelt on that day. We are expecting a big turnout!
As you know, we have completely finished the PARCC assessment. All went extremely well, and we are anxious to examine the results of the testing – when we receive them. I really appreciate how hard our staff worked, and the wonderful help we received from our technology department. Everyone working together created a smooth running process!
As you know the Horbelt students continue to impress with their reading habits. They have been challenged to read THREE MILLION minutes this year, right now they are at TWO MILLION +. I do believe that they are going to reach that goal. In the month of April, the entire student body read 399,000 minutes. Huge numbers! I will keep you posted, but please know how proud I am of our students. Thank you for your support in helping our students become better readers! I am so proud of our students!
