Hi, I'm Ms. Summerton, your First Grade Teacher.  I am so excited to start a new school year!  I have been teaching Pre-K for over 14 years, first starting at Head Start and then opening up the Pre-K program here in Barnegat in 2019.  In the past, I have also taught BSI, 3rd-5th grade, kindergarten and 4th grade.  This will be my first year teaching First Grade,  I know it will be an awesome year. 

To start this year, please bring a 2-pocket folder, a refillable water bottle and a smile.  I know that coming in to a new class can make you a little nervous, but wearing that smile will make things much easier.  I'll make sure to bring mine too!
