Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year! I am looking forward to an exciting year and cannot wait to meet all of you! This year you will learn about all of the trials and tribulations our young nation has faced and still continues to face, but we are resilient and resilience is what America is founded upon.
This is the start of my 14th year of teaching in the district. I began my career teaching 4th grade at the Joseph T. Donahue Elementary School and have since continued my career here at RLHS.
History has always sparked my interest since I was a little girl. I relished in the stories of the events and people that lived before me, the people who have paved the way to the world in which we live today. I hope to engage your child in the same feelings of wonder and curiosity.
This year we will travel back to some of the most exciting times in our nation's history, starting with the founding of the first presidential seat and ending with the divisive Civil War.
