  • Hello there! 

    My name is Mr. Berentes (Mr. B) and I am so excited to be your social studies teacher for the upcoming 23/24 school year! This year we will be picking up where you left of in 6th grade, the end of the Civil War. We will examine how the United States reconstructed and grew through an incredibile period of expansion and industrialization. Our journey through history will explore the dynamic growth of our nation and many of its pivotal turning points, culminating in our examination of World War II.

    All assignments will be posted in Google Classroom. If a student is absent, they are expected to check Google Classroom and complete any missing work.

    I am so excited for the year ahead and look forward to getting to know each and every one of you! Below you will find a list of REQUIRED materials, which you should bring to class everyday!
