NHS candidates must complete all sections of the application and submit to Ms. Clemente in A- 106.
Application forms should be submitted neatly in the provided folder in the following order:
Candidate Information Sheet/ Signature Form
‘BHS Extracurricular Activities’ Chart
‘Extracurricular Activities Outside of BHS’ Chart
‘Community Service’ Chart
‘Leadership/ Awards’ Chart
Essay
The criterion for acceptance include scholarship (GPA, class rank, transcript, essay), leadership, character (discipline, attendance, teacher recommendations), and service (involvement in BHS sports, BHS clubs, and outside community service).
*** The NHS application scoring and selection process is anonymous. Please do not put your name on any application documents except the Candidate Information page. This includes the folder itself and your essay. Instead, simply use the NHS ID # provided.
