Mrs. Bopp

Mrs. Bopp is a Spanish teacher with 27 years of experience in public and private education.  She has taught Spanish in elementary, middle and high schools throughout New Jersey.  She has been an educator in Barnegat Schools for 19 years and thoroughly loves sharing her passion for world language education with her students.  Mrs. Bopp is a graduate of Chestnut Hill College who holds a Bachelors of Art Degree in Spanish and a Secondary Education Certification K-12 in Advanced Standing.   Mrs. Bopp is an active member of her department and has led professional development committees in her time here in Barnegat.  She is also the assistant drama director of the Bulldog Theatre Company!   She is a mother to Jillian, a college senior pursuing a Musical Theatre degree, Abby, a college sophomore studying Early Elementary Education, and Jack, an 11th grader at BHS who is a member of the Bengal Theatre Company and the BHS Esports program  .  She is happily married to her husband of 23 years and is an avid Philly sports fan, collects Day of the Dead art and loves to cook, bake and watch her kids do what they love.  Her family also loves to spend time with their amazing 9-year-old boxer-lab named Rocky!!  She has traveled to Spain, Puerto Rico, Mexico and the Western Carribean islands.  Most recently, she traveled this past summer to France, Italy, Switzerland and Monaco.  Lastly, she was a proud recipient of a Barnegat Inspires Award last year for "Excellence in Academics".
