Barnegat High School

English III will prepare you for future English courses by improving your reading, writing, and oral presentation skills.  Throughout the year, we will cover a number of different texts, ranging from fiction to nonfiction, novels to biographies, and poetry to plays.  Specifically, we will read and discuss classics such as The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Great Gatsby and MacBeth. You will be asked to analyze and build upon the themes that are being discussed in class every day.
