  • Hello! 

     My name is Miss Shearer and I teach US History II at Barnegat High School :) 

    I graduated from George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. I have a degree in Government and International Politics and a minor in Intelligence Analysis. While in college, I was able to study abroad and visited many of the sites that we talk about in class. I have visited Italy, Greece, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Austria, England, and Spain. I am an avid traveler and love exploring different historical sites around the world. History has always been my favorite subject and I love being able to bring that passion into the classroom to share with all of my students.

    I am a die-hard Steelers fan and love going to games.  When I'm not in the classroom, you can find me at concerts, on the beach, or exploring new places around the U.S. I also coach the Field Hockey and Lacrosse teams here at BHS.
