Dear Parents/Guardians:

Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year! I am very pleased to be co-teaching 5th grade Math with Mrs. Hande Drexler and 6th grade Math with Mrs. Kendal Russo. What an exciting year this is going to be working with you, your children, Mrs. Drexler and Mrs. Russo! We plan on delivering the best education to your child and fellow classmates this year, in a positive and caring classroom setting :)

My family and I have been living in Barnegat for 11 years. Prior to moving to Barnegat, I lived in Florida, which is where my three children were born. Yes, they grew up going to Disney constantly!! I am originally from Northern New Jersey in Essex County. I have been working in the Barnegat School District for 7 years. I am certified in General Education (K-8), Special Education (K-8) and have a Masters of Art in Special Education.

I have three children: Dylan, Jake ( 16 year old twin sons and in eleventh grade), and my daughter, Brooke(14 years old and in ninth grade). Prior to having children, I taught middle school in West Orange, NJ, grades 6, 7, and 8th. There I taught Special Education and Inclusion classes. I loved it!!!! I took time off from teaching when I had my children and stood home to raise them.

When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking, watching movies, going to sporting events for my children, decorating, vacationing, and reading/researching new topics of interest.

It is my goal to maintain the same high expectations and academic rigor that we have set forth in prior years.
