Hello Music Friends! I'm so glad you've come for a visit! 

Welcome to the Collins School! 

I'm Mrs. Brennan and I've been the music teacher here at the Cecil S. Collins School since 1999.  I am married and my husband is a music teacher too (at Cedar Creek School in Lacey).  I am the proud mom of two children, Emily, who is a senior at Montclair State University studying Linguistics & German, and Gavin, who is a sophomore at Montclair State University studying Product Design.  Our cat, Piper, loves to make us laugh and even helps me tell jokes in our lessons each week!

Students at the Collins School have music once a week.  We sing seasonal songs, learn about musical concepts, and practice our skills with games & classroom percussion instruments.  We are lucky to have Quaver Music, an interactive resource, to fill our weekly lessons with fun songs, stories, and activities.  You can learn more about this amazing resource here:  https://www.quavered.com/general-music/
