Sight words are high-frequency words that appear in our reading. Sight words are mastered at the "sight" because many of these words cannot be sounded out. We will work to master a set of the words below each marking period, (in addition to the exposure and mastery of many more words!)
To make learning these sight words more fun, try writing them in shaving cream, on a paper plate filled with sand or sugar, building words with play dough, make flashcards and play Memory with them, rainbow write the sight words, etc.!
