Hello, my name is Jennifer Lane.  A little information about me: I am a wife and a mother of two. You can often find me in the stands cheering them on at their sporting events.  When school is not in session I like to spend a lot of time at the beach, traveling, reading or in the kitchen!  

I began my teaching career at Horbelt when we opened the doors back in 2001 after graduating from Georgian Court University.  Most of my teaching career has been spent in the kindergarten classroom. However, I have also taught first grade and basic skills.  I received my Masters Degree from Walden University in 2006.  2019 was a busy year for me, earning my Orton Gillingham Dyslexia Specialist Certification from Fairleigh Dickinson University as well as a New Jersey Supervisor Certificate and Reading Specialist Certificate.  I completed my course work towards my Principal Certification at Caldwell University.  I was fortunate enough to receive the Teacher of the Year award in 2014 and The Superintendent's Award in 2019, 2020, & 2021 for Building Relationships to Foster Learning.

I am very excited to work with the staff and students as the Vice Principal at Horbelt Intermediate!
