Brian Latwis, Ed.D., Superintendent of Schools

Greetings!  As the Superintendent of the Barnegat Township School District, I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself, as well as, provide some insight into who we are as a district.  Barnegat Township School District is comprised of six schools:  four elementary schools, one middle school, and one high school. We accommodate the full continuum of student ages, individual and unique academic levels, as well as, social and emotional developmental needs.

In the Barnegat Township School District, we are a family that is inclusive of parents/guardians, community members, teachers, administrators, staff and students.  In a family, every individual matters.  We strive to lift each other up, be supportive, celebrate successes, and rally in times of need.

Our schools are filled with highly passionate, highly skilled professionals that truly believe every student is capable of achieving success drive our classrooms and schools.  Partnering with dedicated, committed parents and families we will meet every learner where he or she is at, and with individualized instruction and an unwavering belief that all students are capable of great things, we will help all of our students achieve and exceed their potential!

I assure you that my door is wide open and I encourage you to reach out to my office to schedule some time to meet if you have any questions, concerns, feedback, or just want to check in.

I look forward to the amazing school year ahead.
