Every time students put their pens to paper, they become writers. Reading literature helps students to discover themselves and connect to others. 

Class Rules

  1. Be prompt and prepared
  2. Focus and remain on task
  3. Work independently and/or cooperatively
  4. Be respectful in word and action
  5. Place electronics in class bins before class begins

 

Classroom Procedures

  1. Read and complete Do Now.
  2. Maintain writing portfolio (remains in classroom).
  3. Store only ELA materials in ELA designated binder; keep organized and accessible.
  4. Gather homework assignments if absent/late; complete in allotted time and submit work.
  5. Sign out and back in when using bathroom and/or office and nurse facilities.

  2. 5 tab dividers
  3. Loose leaf paper in each section
  4. 2 pens (blue or black)
  5. Pencils
