Hello, my name is Christine Ayers and I am the School Counselor for Cecil S. Collins Elementary School. I hold my Masters Degree in School Counseling and I earned my Professional Counseling certificate from Monmouth University. I have been a Counselor within the Barnegat Township School District for over ten years; during my time here, I have learned so much from the students that I have worked with. My role is to provide a safe place for students to land in a time of need. I then assist them with coping skills that will help them navigate the more challenging moments. In addition, I meet with students in a group setting and I also provide classroom lessons that promote social/emotional learning.
