A Year of Hard Work and Reflection
Throughout the 2023–2024 school year, our school engaged in a rigorous self-study process. This deep dive allowed us to reflect on all aspects of our building—from instruction and student services to communication, safety, and school culture. We used these findings to create a focused improvement plan that will guide our growth over the next 5–7 years.
A Successful Team Visit
In the fall of 2024, a team from the Middle States Association visited Barnegat High School for three days to review our self-study and see our school in action. The visiting team offered a glowing recommendation for accreditation, recognizing the dedication of our staff, the strength of our students, and the positive atmosphere throughout the building.
Official Word Has Arrived
Following three rounds of review, we are proud to share that our school has received official word of accreditation from the Middle States Association!
