SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: CLASS OF 2026

PLEASE READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
There are many steps to applying for BTSD scholarships. We recommend completing this complicated task in the order listed below.
#1: Review 25/26 BTSD Scholarship List and decide which scholarships are fitting for you. As new scholarships are frequently added, please check back often. (Students are responsible for reading all scholarship information carefully, including due dates. ALL scholarships are to be submitted to the BHS Counseling Office.)
#2: Complete the Activity Verification Sheets, including signatures from advisors/coaches, and/or community organization leaders. When done, make copies of completed activity verification sheets (1 per scholarship).
#3: Complete any required essays and additional applications needed for chosen scholarships, which can be found as a link in the 2025/2026 BTSD Scholarship List. Print upon completion, and mark in the upper right corner the student last name and scholarship # (found in RED in the first column of the 2025/2026 BTSD Scholarship List.)
#4: Complete 25-26 BTSD Student Scholarship Application.pdf and make copies of completed application (1 per scholarship).
#5: On the due date (March 10, 2026), bring all completed applications to the BHS Counseling Office. (Location subject to change and you will be notified). If you have any earlier due date please bring it to the Counseling Office BEFORE due date.
Senior Scholarship Assembly Presentation
When your application(s) and additional paperwork are completed, print it and staple each scholarship packet together. Each scholarship packet should include the below items, and must have student name/scholarship # (or letter) on every page, in the upper right corner.
A copy of the BTSD Scholarship Application including BTSD Essay.
A copy of Activity Verification Sheets.
Additional applications and paperwork specified by the donor on the 2025/2026 BTSD Scholarship List.
If you require a Transcript/Letter of Recommendation please have this before 3/10/26.
The deadline is Tuesday, March 10, 2026.
No applications can be processed after this deadline.
