Safety Patrol Positions

There are several Safety Positions inside AND outside our school.  We will rotate these positions every 4-6 weeks throughout the school year.   Not all safeties will have the opportunity to be a captain.  We look for the most responsible safety who follows all rules to be a captain.

There will be morning and afternoon positions on the Safety Patrol. Some safeties will remain at their one assigned position while others will be moved to different posts to accomodate the dismissal procedures. 

The morning positions are:

• Captains (2)

• Attendance officer

• Foyer 

• Gym 

• Cafeteria door during Breakfast time 

• Stairwells 

• Elevator 

• Downstairs hallway 

• Upstairs hallway 

• Buses 

• Bus Caller 

• Door holders

• Outside Walkers

Afternoon Safety Positions:

• Captains (2)

• Foyer 

• Gym

• Cafeteria door during Aftercare time

• Stairwells

• Elevator 

• Downstairs hallway

• Upstairs hallway 

• Buses

• Outside Walkers 

• Door holders

Safeties may be asked to assist throughout the school year as ambassadors to the school. If we have any school visitors, new students, Back to school night, etc. safeties will be asked to assist and help out.
