The BHS Counseling Department hosted the annual Scholarship Breakfast this morning to honor the donors in our community who continue to provide scholarships to our seniors. We deeply appreciate their generosity and commitment to supporting our students' futures.

Paws for a Cause hosted a Holiday Family Fun Night on December 16th, featuring a performance by the Collins School chorus. Students participated in various activities, including making snowman ornaments, visiting a hot cocoa bar, creating reindeer food and crafts, enjoying edible treats, and meeting Santa and Mrs. Claus. Shoutout to Vinnie’s Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria for donating 20 pizzas for our volunteers! Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success in supporting our families in need this holiday season!

As their terms come to a close, we sincerely thank Bonnie Levy and Bruno Iamonte for their leadership and dedication to our schools and community. Their commitment and vision have made a lasting difference in the lives of our students and staff. Barnegat PBA 296 hosted its annual toy drive to support families in need within our community. Officers collected, delivered, and sorted donations from local businesses and Elfie’s House. Members of the Paws for a Cause committee joined the officers to assist with organizing and preparing the toys for distribution. Additionally, the officers generously contributed monetary donations. Thank you for helping make the holidays brighter for our students!
The Transportation Department treated the Meadowedge Social Club, a recreational group for adults with special needs, to a festive holiday lights tour around Barnegat. With the Grinch as their guide, they sang Christmas carols and enjoyed hot chocolate along the way 🚌❤️💚
The Barnegat High School Saxophone Quartet, Select Choir, Concert Choir, and Jazz Band delivered an outstanding performance at their Winter Concert🎶🎺🎷
Barnegat native and author Brian Seidel visited RLHS to speak with students about his book, Captain Henry and the Planets Guard. He was excited to share his journey to becoming an author and invited students to develop a character he may feature in his next book 📖

The RLHS Leaders in Training collected over 1,000 cans and non-perishable items for the Barnegat Food Pantry!
Thank you to the Friendly Sons of Shillelagh and Patriot Financial Group for their generous donations to support our families in need! Their donations will provide seven families with not only a Thanksgiving meal but also enough supplies for breakfast, lunch, and dinner throughout the extended holiday weekend. A special thank you to our incredible Transportation Department for collecting food and monetary donations, shopping for groceries, organizing baskets, and delivering them to our families.

Our third grade gifted and talented students learned about various endangered animals from Travis Gale, the owner of Eyes of the Wild 🦔
The BHS Art Department, in partnership with the Ocean County Department of Solid Waste Management, unveiled murals painted on recycling igloos, which will be placed at local marinas in Barnegat. Thank you to the students and staff who dedicated their time and creativity to beautify our community and promote environmental awareness!
