I am one of seven children, married to my high school sweetheart, and the proud parent of two sons—a scientist and an artist.

Service to others has been a constant throughout my life. My experiences include serving as an Army soldier, volunteer first aider, soccer coach and recreation program leader, elementary teacher, curriculum supervisor, vice principal, principal, and superintendent.

With 26 years in education, including 14 years as a chief school administrator, I have worked collaboratively with educators, families, and community members to identify needs, build on strengths, and implement meaningful improvements. My leadership philosophy centers on people, recognizing that lasting success depends on strong relationships and shared purpose.

I believe education is a partnership among students, families, educators, and the community. Together, we create opportunities for children to reach their full potential. My goal is to ensure every student experiences learning that inspires exploration, discovery, critical thinking, and growth, preparing them to become productive citizens and positive contributors to society.
