I’m very lucky to have been raised by two wonderful parents; both incredibly gifted teachers who showed me a desire to learn, and a love for teaching. Returning to my alma mater to teach the Multiple Disabilities program has been an incredible opportunity. I’ve been fortunate to watch a program and its students grow and succeed both in the school building and in the community. With that, comes a lot of teamwork from very special people. I’ve met and worked with amazing families, caring support staff, and inspiring students that leave a positive impact on my life each day. I’m very thankful to achieve this award and have the opportunity to leave a positive impact on our students, as they certainly have on me!
