Mr. Barbiere first joined the Barnegat family in 2014 and was appointed as the Director of Curriculum & Instruction in August, 2017. Formerly, he worked as the 6-12 Supervisor of Language Arts and Social Studies for the district. Previously in his career, Mr. Barbiere was a Teacher of Social Studies for Rumson-Fair Haven Regional HS. Mr. Barbiere taught English at the Beijing Chinese Business Institute in Beijing, China and the Johann Wolfgang von Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany. He earned his MA in Educational Leadership, Management, and Policy from Seton Hall University and his BA in History from The College of New Jersey.

Mrs. Cammarata first joined the Barnegat Township School District in 2008. She currently serves as District Supervisor of English Language Arts/Social Studies/Visual & Performing Arts (6-12). Throughout her tenure Mrs. Cammarata was the Master Teacher of Secondary Education and has taught American Literature, British Literature, World Literature, Journalism, and EOC (now Literacy Lab). She has presented workshops in the Barnegat District and for teachers throughout Ocean County. During the 2018-2019 school year she was a Professional Development Academy Instructor and worked with the NJDOE on creating the next state assessments. Mrs. Cammarata earned her MAED from Stockton University, also earning a Reading Specialist certification, and her BA in English from Saint Joseph’s University.

Dr. Kennedy joined the Barnegat Township School District in 2021. She currently serves as the Supervisor of Science, Technology, & STEM (5-12). Prior to her current position, Dr. Kennedy was a Science Teacher in East Brunswick Township Public Schools.  Earning an Education Doctorate from Rutgers University, she focused her dissertation research on technology-enhanced inquiry-based science teaching and learning in a hybrid professional development setting.  She earned her M.A. in Teaching, and B.A. in Biology from The College of New Jersey.  

Mrs. Mayo first joined the Barnegat Township School District in 2006. She has been an employee of the district for the past 16 years and has been a parent; her twin boys went through the Barnegat schools from K-12th grade. She is currently the Supervisor of  Elementary Education, grades k-4.  Formerly, Mrs. Mayo was the Instructional Coach and taught pre-k, k, 3rd, 4th, 5th grade, and Basic Skills. She has her undergraduate degree from Kean University in Early Childhood Education, Masters of Reading from Grand Canyon University, and her Supervisor Certification from Jersey City University.

Mrs. Ozello joined the Barnegat Township School District in 2018. She currently serves as the District Supervisor of Mathematics, World Language, and Business (5-12). Prior to her current assignment, she was a Mathematics Teacher in the Woodbridge Township School District. Mrs. Ozello earned her MA in Educational Leadership as well as her BA in Mathematics and Education from Georgian Court University.

Mrs. Haviland joined the Barnegat Township School District in 2019.  Prior to her current assignment in the Curriculum Department, she worked as Curriculum Supervisory Assistant and as the Technology & Grounds Secretary at Barnegat High School.
