Project CRASH delivered a powerful message to our seniors about the dangers of driving under the influence of alcohol. We extend our gratitude to the Barnegat Police Department, Fire Department, First Aid, Hackensack Meridian Health, South Shore Towing, our student actors, and staff for volunteering their time to show our students the harsh reality of impaired driving. Please take the time to have an open and honest conversation with your children about the dangers of impaired and distracted driving. Encourage them to make responsible choices when they get behind the wheel and remind them that their safety, as well as the safety of others, should always be the top priority. #barnegatinspires

BHS history classes had the opportunity to engage in a meaningful Q&A session with members of VFW Post 10092, gaining valuable insights into history, sacrifice, and the real-life experiences that shape our world. During the event, student Jake Scarabaggio was honored with the District 12 Award and a check for earning 3rd place in the Voice of Democracy essay contest. Additionally, Supervisor Maggie Reilly received an Excellence in Education certificate in recognition of her efforts to strengthen the VFW’s presence in our schools. #barnegatinspires
