It's...a...musical!! It's also a birthday party!! On April 23rd of this year, Shakespeare would have been 462 years old! Whether you love Shakespeare, or, like the main character in our spring musical, you HATE Shakespeare, join us for cake to celebrate his birthday (and death day!) at the opening night of The Bengal Theatre Company’s spring musical, Something Rotten! This poetically hilarious musical is a romp through just about every Broadway musical ever written…or about to be written! Combining styles ranging from classical Broadway to pop to vaudeville, Something Rotten has a super fun and very catchy score, featuring songs like “God, I Hate Shakespeare!” “Welcome to the Renaissance,” “It’s Hard to be the Bard,” and “The Black Death.”
The more you love theatre, the more you’ll enjoy this Broadway hit!
If you can't make it for Shakespeare's actual birthday, don't worry. The show runs for his whole birthday weekend too!!
