Art Club is for everyone as long as they have a passion for art! The purpose of the art club is to provide students who have an interest in art an opportunity to explore art and craft forms beyond what is offered in the curriculum. We will meet once a week for a six week period. During this time, students will complete one or more projects that highlight their love of creating.

Board Game Club
This after-school club focuses on teaching children good sportsmanship and strategic thinking, as well as improving verbal communication. Through a variety of competitive and cooperative board and card games, hopes are to help each child develop important life skills all while having a lot of fun. This club is designed for any play level from beginner through experienced players.
Games are taught in a two week series. The first week is spent teaching, going over strategy and playing a new game(s). The second week is a review of the game(s) and the students will have a more in depth experience building upon the strategies learned and exploring new problem solving methods and skills. Then students will be able to move on to another set of new games and continue this cycle through the end of the year.

The goal of Homework Club is to be sure students are comfortable and successful with their assignments. I want them to feel confident in the skills they are learning and have mastered. During our time together, we will review and complete assignments necessary and be sure students are grasping the concepts. It will look different for each student as it will be individualized using their strengths and goals, and assignments needing completion.
