I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new Vice Principal of Donahue Elementary School, effective January 2024. I have proudly worked in Barnegat schools for the majority of my career and am honored to be joining the leadership team. Prior to this position, I served as an instructional coach for Barnegat High School for three years and before that, I taught sixth grade English Language Arts at Russell O. Brackman Middle School. Working with a large span of grade levels has afforded me the unique opportunity to be attuned to the necessary foundation our children need to be successful in the future, and I look forward to bringing that perspective to Donahue.

Coming into this position in the middle of the year may have its challenges, but I look forward to listening to our staff, students, and community to learn about all of the unique attributes of this school. In my first few days at Donahue, it became abundantly clear that the school is filled with hardworking and talented staff, as well as kind-hearted and spirited children. I was so appreciative of the smiles, the questions, and most certainly the hugs! 

I am fully committed to our mission of making a positive impact on our students’ educational journey to becoming responsible and engaged citizens. Designing an environment where all of our children can be successful is a team effort, and I look forward to partnering with all of you to continue to make Donahue Elementary School a special place to be.
