Mrs. Bartolini

My name is Deanna Bartolini. I am a special education teacher in the behavior disabilities class and I have been married to my husband, Tony, since 1995. We have one daughter, Emily who is in college.

I graduated from Georgian Court University with a BA in Sociology/Gerontology in 1995.  Upon graduating I accepted a job as a teacher’s assistant in special education class for behaviorally disabled children. After 4 years I realized I wanted to go back to obtain my Teacher of the Handicapped Certificate as this was the place I wanted to be. While teaching at an out of district school for behaviorally disabled children, I attended and received my Teacher of the Handicapped Certificate in 2003 from New Jersey City University Master’s Program.

In 2009 I began teaching at the Robert L. Horbelt Elementary School. I have always found this position very rewarding. To witness these children evolve and become responsible, respectable young adults who go above and beyond my expectations, both academically and socially, motivates me.
