This year we will explore texts that will present interesting topics, focus on critical writing skills, and fine-tune how we think about literature.  Exploring and building these skills will help prepare for high school challenges.      

Classroom Rules:

• Communicate with me directly - questions, concerns, and/or personal information.
• Cell phones are prohibited.
• ABSENT WORK—It is the student’s responsibility to find out what work was missed, complete the work, and submit the work to me. 
• Cheating = Zero; NO WORK = NO CREDIT!

Small binder [with lined paper and a means of storing handouts]
