ROBMS students win Real Media Contest
According to Roberta Rapisardi, M.S.Ed., Senior Community Prevention Manager, “Real media is an evidence-based program that is designed to prevent substance abuse among adolescents,”
Participants in the contest used their knowledge of advertising techniques used to sell tobacco, alcohol, and marijuana to come up with preventive messages.
“Doing this helped students apply critical thinking skills to create their own youth driven messages against substance abuse."
Student Winners:
1st Place: Hayden Grom & Shea Peterson
2nd Place: Lily Elkhouly
3rd Place: Kenley Bottles & Avery Jastrzebski
