Picture Retakes:

  • Sports and team photographs will be taken by LifeTouch on Monday, October 24th starting at 8am. Please be sure to come prepared and wear your team uniform.

  • Picture Makeups: We will let you know when the new forms come in.

  • Picture Retakes: You need to bring the original pictures in the original envelope with a note from your guardian about what is wrong with the pictures.

 

From today until October 21st or until supplies run out, Ms Gianni will be selling bracelets for Breast Cancer Awareness in room S225. Bracelets are $1 and will go towards Brackman's donations to the American Cancer Society and the Making Strides campaign. 

 

Walkathon:

To participate in the walkathon you need to give $5 to your homeroom teacher this Morning. Your homeroom teacher will give you a ticket to and participate in the walkathon. 7th grade will be during period 3 and 8th grade will be during period 4.

 

Teacher Saver’s Are Back!!!!

Mrs. O’Neill and Mrs. Cobb’s classes are excited to bring back Teacher Saver’s. If you have copying, laminating, items picked up and delivered or anything else…we want to help. Please find the red baskets in the mailroom or upstairs break room and fill out the Teacher Saver form and we’ll get right on it!

 

Recycling Program:

So much gets thrown into those big blue recycling boxes that doesn’t really belong…We can help! We have made recycling boxes that will only let paper enter! We can deliver one to you….just let Mrs. O’Neill or Mrs. Cobb know. We will begin recycling pick ups next week.  Every couple of days, our classes will come around and pick up the contents of the “Paper Only” recycling boxes and make sure it gets recycled to the right place…not just thrown in the trash!

“It’s Up To Us” Club:

Do you want to make a positive impact on our school through acts of kindness? If so, you should join the "It's Up To Us" Club. Please pick up a permission slip from Mrs. Polhemus in room W203. Our first meeting will be on Thursday, October 13th after school until late buses.





Winter Sports:

There are 3 sports in the winter: Boys and Girls Basketball and Wrestling. If you want to try out for these sports, please stop by the office and get your packet to be signed off. The Paperwork needs to be turned in no later than 11/1.

 

Sports Shout Outs:

  • Yesterday the Middle School Football Team beat Lakewood 38-6.  Offensively, Chris Santero scored 3 touchdowns, Gavin Rule returned a kick for a TD, and Nick Malinowski threw 2 Touchdowns- one to Ben Proud and one to Chris Santero.  Defensively, Zimere Jackson, Ben Proud, Gavin McGowan, and Josh Kozak each were in on 5 total tackles each.  Brackman Football is now 2-1 on the season and travels to Southern next week.

  • A team won 7-0 with goals from Makena Fitzpatrick, Mackenzie Sircovitch, Avery Jastrzebski, Bella Costello, Alex Mustillo, and two goals from Katie Bobrowicz. Bianca Kenan had her third shut out of the season.The B team won 3-0 with goals from Lilly Atkins and two goals from Peyton McCoy.

  • 1)no volleyball practice today... 2)Lady Bulldogs traveled to Toms River South and pushed a talented squad but come up short late in both matches. Hayden Grom and Jessica Harrer had 4 digs, Gianna Callahan and Shea Peterson had 3 kills and Gabriella Gangadyal had 4 aces.
