  • "RIFE" - Reading Is For Everyone - RIFE is our free book give away once a year.  Students come to the library with their ELA teacher and select a free book of their choice to keep and enjoy.    Thank you to the ROBMS PTA for donating $500 towards the purchase of books for the 2017-2018 school year RIFE program.   We thank the PTA for their continued support of the library AND the RIFE program.

    New books arrive weekly for students to check out.                                                                                           

    The Library Assistants program has been very successful.  Seventh and eighth grade students, interested in the library -  book drop books, check students in/out, restock shelves, put labels on new books and more.  11 Student Library Assistants have been selected for this year.   6th and 7th grade students interested in applying to be Library Assistants for 2020-2021 school year can apply after May 15, 2020. 

    Book Fair Update -

    The Scholastic Book Fair will be open during Parent/Teacher Conference week, December 2-6 and February 21-28.  Students view book trailers in ELA class for the most popular books at the book fair.  Students come to the book fair with their ELA teacher.  We run a “lucky locker lottery” where 20 students will receive a “lucky locker lottery” ticket in their locker giving them the opportunity to select one free book from the book fair.  Parents who stop by the book fair during Parent/Teacher Conference week, have the opportunity to win a free basket of books. Parents receive an entry form when they browse the book fair. No purchase necessary.
