Hello! Welcome to my class, and I look forward to a great school year!  This is my 12th year teaching here at BHS and 15th year overall.  I teach United States History and Economics, and I also teach at the PAWS Academy.  Teaching is a second career for me as I was previously a law enforcement officer for 17 years, retiring in 2006. I am also a real estate agent and drive an ice cream truck on Long Beach Island.  I love sports and am a huge fan of the Yankees, Giants, and Rangers.  In college sports, I cheer for Vanderbilt University and the University of South Carolina because both of my daughters attend those schools.  Mrs. Hemenway is a vice principal at Southern Regional middle School.  I love the summer, the beach, the pool, reading, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.  I truly love my job, and look forward to meeting all of you!
